Does Community Policing Build Trust in Police and Reduce Crime? Evidence from Six Coordinated Field Experiments in the Global South
On October 2, EGAP individual researcher and Metaketa IV committee chair Graeme Blair shared results from studies in six countries that assessed the effects of community policing programs on building citizen trust in police and reducing crime. This event also highlighted the research design of and the integrated results from the six studies.
The research presented is part of EGAP’s Metaketa Initiative, a coordinated research model designed to foster innovation and cumulative learning through simultaneous replication of research across multiple contexts.
