Dr. Raul Pacheco-Vega is an Associate Professor at the Methods Lab of the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) in Mexico. He is a specialist in comparative public policy and focuses on North American environmental politics, primarily sanitation and water governance, solid waste management, neoinstitutional theory, transnational environmental social movements and experimental methods in public policy. His current research programme focuses on the spatial, political and human dimensions of public service delivery. He is a member of the National Researchers System of Mexico (National Researcher Level 1), and Associate Editor of the Journal of Environmental Studies and Sciences (JESS). He sits on the editorial board of Water International, Global Environmental Politics, and Politics, Groups & Identities.
