Ryan 
is an Assistant Professor of Government at Harvard University. He specializes in political psychology, race and ethnic politics, and political behavior in the United States. He is also affiliated with the Institute for Quantitative Social Science, Center for American Political Studies, Center for Geographic Analysis, and the Ph.D. Program in Government & Social Policy. He directs the Working Group on Political Psychology and Behavior (WoGPop) and is also affiliated with the Behavioral Insights Group and Foundations of Human Behavior Initiative. Recent projects include a field experiment on intergroup contact on Boston’s public transit system and a longitudinal study of Obama campaign workers.
