I am a PhD student studying International Relations in the Department of Political Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My dissertation project studies how group decision-making affects foreign policy. My other research interests include conflict, development, computational modeling, and experimental methods.
Prior to starting my PhD, I was a program manager for the Sino-African Initiative at Sister Cities International, where I worked on U.S.-Chinese-African trilateral municipal cooperation projects.
I hold a MA in Security Studies and a BSFS in International Affairs from Georgetown University.
