Natalia Garbiras Díaz is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Business School. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2021. Prior to joining Harvard Business School, she was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in Italy. Her research focuses on comparative politics and political economy, with a regional focus on Latin America. She studies civil conflict, post-conflict peace, democratic resilience, service delivery, elections and accountability. Her work has been published in the American Economic Review, the Journal of Peace Research, the Journal of Conflict Resolution, and Conflict Management and Peace Science.
