Matt is the Senior Methods Manager at EGAP, where he oversees organizational programming related to strengthening research capacity, developing research standards and methods, and strengthening research transparency. He is also the staff lead for work related to EGAP’s Climate Justice Priority Theme. Prior to joining EGAP, Matt worked as a quantitative researcher with a focus on community development, education, and forest conservation. Before pivoting into the world of experimental research and public service, he worked in software implementation and project management. A Detroit-area native, Matt holds a master’s degree in public administration from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan.
