Mai Truong

Mai Truong is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Mount St. Mary’s University. She studies contentious politics under authoritarian rule. Here dissertation examines the conditions under which movements of markedly different natures build coalitions to confront authoritarian governments. Her other works investigate the factors that affect public support for protests and social movements. Truong received a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Arizona in April 2022.
