Jorge is an assistant professor of Economics at Universidad del Rosario. In 2017 he was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Department of Politics at Princeton University. He received a Ph.D. in Political Science from New York University. Currently, he is the director of the Master’s program in Economics of Public Policy at Universidad del Rosario. His research focuses on political and economic development in Latin America, with a special emphasis on clientelism, civil conflict, state capacity, and the resource curse.
