Florian Foos is an Assistant Professor in Political Behaviour in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He uses randomized field experiments to identify the effects of formal and informal interactions between citizens, political representatives, and campaign workers on electoral mobilization, opinion change and political activism. Florian’s research also focuses on inter-personal influence in social networks. He received his D.Phil in Sociology from Nuffield College, University of Oxford (2015). Prior to joining LSE, he was a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Politics in the Department of Political Economy at King’s College London, where he is now a Visiting Senior Research Fellow.
