Cara Wong is a Professor in the Departments of Political Science and Asian American Studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She is the author of Boundaries of Obligation in American Politics: Geographic, National, and Racial Communities, and her work has appeared in various academic journals, including JOP, BJPS, PSRM, PNAS, and POQ. Wong holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and her research has been supported by grants from the National Science Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation, and the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada. She has been a fellow at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University, fellow at the Russell Sage Foundation, Fulbright Scholar in Chile at the Pontificia Universidad Católica, and Hallsworth Visiting Professor at the University of Manchester, and is past president of the political psychology section of the American Political Science Association.
