Bhumi Purohit is Assistant Professor at Georgetown University, McCourt School of Public Policy. Her research focuses on gender and governance, with a regional specialization in India. She received her Ph.D. in political science from University of California, Berkeley, and was previously a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, with a joint appointment in the Department of Psychology.
