Jessica Preece is a Professor in Political Science at Brigham Young University and serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of Political Behavior. Jessica’s research is on the causes and consequences of women’s representation in politics. Her research is primarily experimental and has been published in top political science and economics journals, including the American Political Science Review, the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Political Economy, the Quarterly Journal of Political Science, Political Behavior, and Politics & Gender. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2010 and was a visiting scholar in the Department of Political Science at the University of Michigan in 2018 and Harvard’s Women in Public Policy Program in 2019.
