Jasjeet is the Robson Professor of Political Science and Statistics at University of California Berkeley. He is also Chief Scientist at the Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership, a Senior Fellow at the Berkeley Institute for Data Science, and Director at the Center for Causal Inference and Program Evaluation. He has created software for causal inference, as well as published a number of papers in political science, statistics, and economics journals. Along with David Collier and Philip Stark, he edited Statistical Models and Causal Inference: David Freedman’s Dialogue with the Social Sciences (Cambridge University Press. 2010). Jasjeet received his PhD from Cornell’s Department of Government in 1999.
