Brian Scholl is a research fellow at IZA-Bonn (non-resident) and the Chief Economist for the United States Senate Committee on the Budget in Washington DC. His fields of interests include Development Economics, Labor, Political Economy, Applied Econometrics, Public Policy, Comparative Economics and Politics. His current research areas are revolutions, migration, long-term unemployment, inequality, institutional dysfunction, and political participation. He has written on labor and development, as well as applied economic methods. Brian received his PhD in Economics from the University of California Berkeley.
