Daniel Rubenson is a Professor in the Department of Politics at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto. The topics he studies include political participation, vote choice, trust, prosocial behaviour, the connections between culture and institutions, land rights and their effects on economic behaviour and political accountability and representation. He is currently one of the principal investigators of the Canadian Election Study. He received his PhD in political science from the London School of Economics.
