Gianmarco León-Ciliotta is an associate professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and an affiliated professor at the Barcelona GSE and IPEG. His research focuses on three main areas (i) voter behavior and the way public policies affect participation and preference aggregation, (ii) the personnel economics of the state in developing countries, and (iii) firm behavior and organization. His work uses both experimental and non experimental methods, it has appeared in academic journals in economics and political science, as the Journal of Political Economy, American Political Science Review, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of the European Economic Association, among others. Gianmarco graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and holds a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from UC Berkeley.
