Christopher Grady is a political scientist interested in interventions to improve human well-being, causal inference, and manifestations of commitment problems and collective action problems. He was formerly Senior Metrics Advisor at USAID’s Bureau for Democracy, Rights, and Governance (DRG), where he led Bureau efforts to integrate research into USAID programs, managed impact evaluations of DRG programs, and served as a top-level research and evaluation expert for USAID. His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, International Foundation for Electoral Systems, and Evidence in Governance and Politics; published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, World Development, and the Sage Handbooks; and featured in the National Geographic.
