Knowledge Accumulation and External Validity: Implications for Design and Analysis
Authors: Jaclyn Leaver
EGAP and the Centre for the Study of Democratic Citizenship (CSDC) at the Université de Montréal have teamed up to organize a day-long workshop on “Knowledge Accumulation and External Validity: Implications for Design and Analysis.”
Directed by Anna Wilke (Washington University at St. Louis and former EGAP fellow), Vincent Arel-Bundock (Université de Montréal), and Cyrus Samii (New York University and EGAP Executive Director), the workshop will feature methods talks addressing themes that were introduced in a recent EGAP blog post, “Beyond the Metaketa Initiative”.
The event will take place on Wednesday, September 14 at the Université de Montréal, just prior to the American Political Science Association Annual Meeting. The meeting is already at capacity, but those interested can view the agenda here.
Look out for future posts summarizing insights from the meeting and other work that EGAP is organizing on knowledge accumulation and external validity.
