Daniel Mejía was an Associate Professor of Economics at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. Since January 2016, he is the Secretary of Security from Bogotá D.C. He works on crime economics and much of his current work revolves around illegal drugs and hotspots policing
