I am a PhD candidate in comparative politics at the University of Pennsylvania. My interests are in the political economy of development with a geographic focus on East Africa. My dissertation investigates the impact of non-state service provision on political accountability, looking specifically at the impact of NGO service delivery interventions on political credit attribution, citizen political engagement, and government investments in service delivery.
