Adrienne LeBas is Associate Professor of Political Science. She is the author of the award-winning From Protest to Parties: Party-Building and Democratization in Africa (Oxford University Press, 2011) and articles in the British Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Democracy, Comparative Politics, and elsewhere. Much of her past and current research is qualitative, but other research draws on original survey data, survey-embedded experiments, and field experiments. She is a recipient of grants and fellowships from the EGAP Metaketa project, the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation, the UK's Department for International Development (DfID), the International Republican Institute and National Endowment for Democracy (IRI/NED), and others.
