Eric Arias is a postdoctoral fellow at Princeton University's Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance. From August 2018, he will be assistant professor in government at the College of William & Mary. His research interests lie in international and comparative political economy, focusing on the international sources of domestic politics and political economy of development. His main areas of inquiry analyze how international capital can influence development and political accountability as well as the role of information in those and other dynamics. He received his PhD in Politics from New York University in 2017.
