Elsa Voytas is enrolled in a dual Ph.D. program in political science and social policy at Princeton University. Her research focuses on the victim-level impact of transitional justice policies in post-conflict and post-repression societies. Prior to beginning her Ph.D. at Princeton, she worked as a communications consultant with the US Departments of Justice and Defense. She also worked as a consultant with the AidData Center for Development Policy where she conducted randomized-controlled trials to evaluate development programs in Kampala, Uganda.
