Andrés Moya is an Assistant Professor at the Economics Department, Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. He has a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis and Masters and Bachelors degrees in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes. His research falls in the fields of Development, Behavioral, and Experimental Economics. Most of his work has focused on the economic, psychological, and behavioral consequences of violence and forced displacement in Colombia. Currently, he is analyzing the behavioral consequences of violence on early childhood, and leading a project that consists in the implementation and evaluation of a group-based psychosocial program designed to protect children 0 to 5 years of age from the adverse cognitive and socioemotional effects of violence and displacement.
