Michael Callen is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Strategic Management at the UC San Diego Rady School of Management. Prior to UCSD, he was an Assistant Professor at the Harvard Kennedy School and at the University of California Los Angeles. He completed his PhD in economics at the University of California, San Diego and his BSc at the London School of Economics. His current research focuses on political economy, development economics, and behavioral economics. He has published in several journals including the American Economic Review and the Journal of International Economics.
