Kosuke is a professor in the Department of Politics and an executive committee member of the Committee for Statistical Studies and the Program for Quantitative and Analytical Political Science (Q-APS) at Princeton University. Imai also serves as the director of the newly created undergraduate certificate program in Statistics and Machine Learning. He specializes in the development of statistical methods and their applications to social science research. His research is motivated by this fundamental question: How can we improve statistical methods and data analyses that are used to test causal hypotheses in social science?
