EGAP requests proposals for small grants for projects designed to improve the quality of experimental research. Proposals are welcome from both EGAP members and unaffiliated researchers for grants of up to $5000. Principal Investigators must be based at a university and in possession of a PhD at the time of application.

Proposals may focus on any innovation that might improve the way in which experiments are designed, analyzed, reported, or archived. These innovations may grow out of the investigator’s statistical analysis, empirical investigation, or literature review. The selection committee expects to fund between one and three proposals. Preference will be given to projects that can be completed within one year of receiving funding.
